"Ella & Felix 1.8.26 - 31.8.26 ABC-Islands This trip has been so much fun, I really needed a proper getaway from Norway, we have done so many funny things, I have gotten to experience so much and learned so many things. You have been a really good captain with proper controll on every aspect of the boat (true German style) and you always have the answer (even if we don't ask hehe) Ella has made this trip a smooth ride, she has controll on every social aspect and is the chief deckhand that knows how everything works I really appriciate both of you and I would love to come back, you really made this trip! Much love to both of you, hope to meet you soon again Hilsen Jonas, E"

You are a great skipper, you know your shit and that creates confidence, we could always ask you about anything and you'd answer like a living Wikipedia-page, impressive! Kiss + ASS-slap, Your Belgian Blondy VINNIE (ELLA, is amazing, take good care of each other, focus on your compatibility and enjoy all the BOSM)"

"Takk for turen, din tåpsekopp! Keep up Duolingo, norsk kommer alltid godt med... Tenker fort at vi ses igjen! Xoxo, Vibbe"

"Hey cutiepatootie Ella (+Felix) I am so glad we told Caitlin in Honduras about loving to go on a sailing trip. A few months later we finally arrived here and loved it. So much snorkeling and diving, seeing so many fishies and turtles and getting to know people from 6 other states. We would really like to come to another trip with you if we manage to have some free time and money left! We wish you all the best until then and many magnificent moments"

"Felix, Thank you for this insane experience! this trip has been incredible from diving, to shaving your legs to getting disgustingly sea sick. This is a great lifestyle that I now aspire to have one day. Thanks for the amazing memories and also for confirming you don't hate me. The aussie in you is strong and I hope you come for a visit soon. Lotsa love ♡ Giaan"

"Felix, Ella! Thank you so much for having us in your beatiful floating home. It was a dream being able to wake up every morning in natural swimming pools, seeing turtles under the boat, and even dolphins!!! Ella, you're the kindest, sweetest, you make everyone on board at ease, and I loved your focaccia so much!! Felix, even though you're German, you're the chillest captain I've ever met. Somebody wrote a dick in the wall? No problem. The toilet is broken? Mmmh, okay. I can't wait to come and join you guys in French Polynesia. Will and I are so excited to come back and we would love to bring some friends. We are very grateful to everything that you guys did, not taking anything for granted. Now I know that not only did an amazing trip, but I also achieved two more friends. And one of them is German, how cool is that? haha. I hope to see you again very soon. In the meanwhile, every time that you see a turtle scream OMGGGGGG! love you guys! With love, your italian friend ILA ♡☺"

"Many thanks to you Felix!! I've had such a great time and was very happy to be apart of this crew that you picked ♡ So many amasing & fun memories that will have a special place in my heart. From diving & seeing that huge!! "crab" under the bridge, the dolphins that sailed with us, our mattresses that flew in the water.., the reeeally good Espresso Martini at Little havana in Bonaire, the dancing, snorkeling with the sharks, the crystal blue water in turks & caicos and so much more. Even if I was abit unlucky with my hip and my head I've had so much fun!! And maybe in the future I can come back and swim with mantas in French polynesia I wish u all the best and thanks again for letting me experience your dream and be a part of the crew Turks → Curaçau Michaela"

"Felix, I always new the ocean was special, but I had never experienced it so close up. Day in and day out. I have now fallen in love with the ocean. And fear I am now going to develop some expensive hobbies, so thanks! I couldn't have asked for a better trip. from life aboard with the crew, Scuba diving for the first time, the non stop german sarcasm and of course waking up and jumping into turquoise water. TRULY UNFORGETTABLE Thanks for the life long memories! Keep doing what you do! -Love Jessi"

"Hey Felix, Where should I even start? Everything feels a bit like a dream. From the moment Jannik told me about this boat to this very moment I'm writing this text. The trip has been absolutely incredible and if I could I wouldn't change it. The things you taught me, the laughter we had, your kind heart towards people and the time we had I will cherish for a lifetime! You are living the dream of a free spirit to go wherever you want to go. You truly are an extraordinary person and I am glad I found a new friend in life. I hope to see you again next year to create more memories! Ella, I am very happy that you found each other. I didn't get the chance to meet you like the others but you are a kind and understanding soul! If you ever come across south of Germany or Sweden you are more than welcome to stay! Stay who you are bitches! Lots of love, Manu"

"Providenciale, Turcs & Caicos → Curaçao ⇄ Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Thank you for this amazing trip captain! I would have of course liked to sail a bit longer with you guys, but I am sure it would have been the same after 6 weeks :! (and a good excuse to come back hehehe) My friends were concerned that I would not come back and you almost proved them right! Thank you for showing me a part of your world. I hope that we were able to give you back at least a small portion of the happiness that you brought us :). You will always be welcome at my place for mountains and good food!! Luca/Mongolito ✝"

Was kannst du eigentlich nicht? So cool, was du dir da aufgebaut hast. Kristin :) Und mein Top Spruch von dir war: You can bring a horse to the water but you can't make it drink. "Watch me, make it drink!""

Dein Freund Sven"

"To Felix, Bahamas → Turks & Caicos I cannot even put into words how incredible these few weeks have been. Truly a life I never thought I would get to experience, so I am honestly so grateful for you running these trips. There have been so many firsts for me on this trip: → first shark sighting → first turtle sighting → first flying fish sighting → first stingray sighting → first conch burger (still feel very guilty after seeing those pictures of them) → first group lapdance from 2 Norwegian with very long legs. → first decent cup of tea in 5 months ♡ → first Ligretto stop On a real, meeting you & Ella has been such a pleasure, & it's been so reassuring to spend time with others wanting to live now & not later. I think what you're doing is unbelievably cool & inspiring. I really appreciate your patience & warmth with teaching us all. You've made a lovely welcoming environment here on Laurelli & I think its very special. Also I will be buying Ligretto stop as soon as I'm back on miserable UK soil, so thank you for that. May have lost a working phone, but I've gained lots of memories!! Keep living the mamma mia fantasy for me, love Amy ♡♡"

"George Town, Exuma → Turcs and Caicos Hoi, Felix! First of I want to thank you and Ella for taking me aboard ♡ I was in a special "spot" in my life when applying and I definetly needed this trip! It has been an absolute blast being with you and the whole crew all this time. I have experienced so much in these 24 days which I will remember for the rest of my life. i have also learned a lot: how to have a slow morning, sleeping 8 hours+, but most importantly a lot about sailing, fish/animal life and free diving. This adventure has indeed upped my interest in boat life (especially sailing) and to spend more time exploring and living life to the fullest! I will definetly come aboard another time in the future on your circumnavigation, if you want. Lastly, I want to thank you and the other backpackers aboard for the inspiration! I will definetly travel more after this. Give me hint if youre in Norway! See you and Runar"

Aka (because your French from high school might be a little rusty), a thousand thanks for this unexpected journey! What could have been the least interesting part of my four-month travels may just have become my favourite two weeks. That life you live and you share with people who are lucky enough to step foot on Laurelli is truly precious. I found so much joy in all the things we did, and saw, and ate, and I will cherish those memories for...ever I guess! It's not everyday you explore ship and plane wrecks, and blue holes and caves, or that you pet stingrays and wild pigs, or that you eat mahi mahi or freshly picked lobster. But as always, what is the loveliest when travelling is meeting new people and I must tell you I have the biggest FOMO leaving Jasper, Jonathan, Ella and you and joining my transatlantic crossing. I'm gonna miss you guys so much!! A little note on the captain you are: your knowledge mixed with your relaxed attitude is truly an inspiration. I can't wait to learn so much more about sailing to be as wise a sailor as you! The way you explain things to us is so kind as well, I loved sailing and learning with you!! Fair winds Captain Felix! Manon"

"Bimini, Bahamas → Samana, Don Rep. STAY RESPEKTVOLL -Jonathan"

"Miami 27.04.2026 → Bahamas → Turks & Caicos 08.06.2026 Joehai Felix! Sehr vielen dank für diese wunderbarliche Ferien! This has been the most amazing trip of my life so far. To think that this has all started because of Riccardo is crazy. 3 months ago I would not have imagined that I would be sailing the Bahamas! (with the best skipper ever) It all started in Miami a month ago, meeting you, Ella, Tandia and August, taking some drinks in a cool place on Miami Beach. I immedeatly felt a good connection. A few days later, I joined the boat. There she was, the beautiful Laurelli at Sunset. The days after you took me on the journey of Fixing and prepping the boat. The days worked! A week later, we finally started to set sail to the Bahamas, trying new things along the way! (Food & snorkeling) In around 4 weeks, we sailed through the Bahamas. From Bimini, the bay, Nassau, the Exumas, all the way to Turks & Caicos. During this trip we saw and met so many cool new places & people. The dragplane was my favorite! But besides that, I also improved a lot this trip! As a sailor, and as a person. Your view on life is unique and I got a lot of inspiration of that. Living now instead of later. I know a couple things for sure now! Go to Australia, buy a boat myself, and coming back to Laurelli in the future! (I'm gonna save money for a future trip) Overall I want to thank you & Ella for the amazing time on the boat. What you 2 are doing is amazing, and I Hope you can do it for a long time. Sailing the world, whilst teaching people the sailing part along the way. Have a save course to your next destinations, riding the wind & waves like a true sailor. Kind regards, Jasper Zijlstra :) or Jappa or the coolest Dutch guy on this boat ever"

"Puerto Rico → Nassau, Bahamas 5-18/3-26 Thank you Felix! From the first contact and during the whole trip you have been the source of energy on the boat. I'm very impressed of your career, turning your passion into something you live & breathe PLUS sharing it with the buffoons (us) that joins part of your journey. Many thanks for all amazing dinners, laughter, adventures, flashes, catches and for letting me be a part of your crew. Sailing has been on my cards for a while and after surviving both sea sickness & infection, I'm now sooo humbled by offshore sailing! You make it look easy ofc!! Sad to see that 2 weeks are up, I will go home, learn more and come back one day, maybe to a house in the French Polynesia :) Thank you for being so warm & welcoming. Safe sailing, lots of love, Aina, Sweden"

"Puerto Rico 5/3.26 ↔ Bahamas 18/3.26 Sailing with Laurelli is like having the looks of Felix and going on a blind date - you never know whats going to happen or what to expect, but you always know that she'll bring you home in the end of the day! Booking this trip ten days before departing San Juan turned out to be a great and spontaneous decision. Great people on board, good food, amazing freediving and fair winds. -Kjetil, Norway"

"Antigua → Puerto Rico 27/1 - 5/3 2026 I dont want to leave (especially after the addition of all the new snacks) but I'm afraid if I dont leave now I never will. This has been a definate highlight of my life - the people, the beaches, the octopus, the shells, and all the wonderful days and nights will stay with me forever. I have such an immense appreciation for you and your lifestyle. You may "need crew on board to be able to not drown in debt, blah blah blah" but no one is forcing you to be as patient, cool, and down to earth as you are, Not to mention you have begun and will continue to inspire an entire generation to quit their jobs and buy a boat - thats quite impressive. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again I wish you and your future crews all the best! Xo Caitlin"

"Felix! What a sick journey this has been, cheers for having me aboard, every day has been unreal. I've absolutely loved learning to sail, snorkelling at the coolest reefs, seeing eagle rays, sharky bois, fish, octopus and a heap of cool fish + turtles, also loved being able to improve freediving skills and hanging out with the most incredible boat fam! Absolute highlights would be the dolphins dancing around the boat and meeting so many cool people along the way. Thanks for being such a chill person to be stuck on the boat with for 6 weeks and I'm super keen to see how your sail around the world goes! Keep living the good life and all the best to ya! -Lily"

"Felix, I know in your world this is not an uncommon set of experiences, and it may seem like (hopefully rarely) this is normal. It's not. But that's what makes it so special that you've set up this life for yourself and have opened your home and heart and brain to us lucky few. I look forward to making good on the inspiration and experience you've given me on this trip, and seeing you and Laurelli in French Polynesia as a much more experienced sailor. I worry what your shell collection will look like by then, I hope there will still be space for people on the boat. Hopefully I can send you a few other fun people as well along the way, as many people have heard/seen this trip. Keep sharing it with everyone (but pls discount for sending people if they're cool). Thanks so much for an amazing, passion-confirming, bucket-list ticking, epic, wholesome, ... trip. See you next time! (Fellow Mulletmannnn!!)"

I loved the secluded crystal clear water beaches, the long sails, the animals and all the people we met and the crews. It's all been wonderful! I wish you all the best and safe onward sailing! :)"

Hugs & Kisses, Patrick III. & Alexi"

"Thank you so much for this amazing trip. It has, without a doubt, been the best weeks in my life. I've never met a person who opens their home and welcomes people into it the way you do.
